How It Works

What is this crazy tournament you call Madness? I see girls. (They're all pretty awesome!) I see brackets. It looks like a rockin' good time. Where do I start? What do I do first? What's the skinny?

OK. Here's the deal. We are looking for 16 girls from University of Florida and 16 girls from University of Miami to compete head-to-head at each school. WOW! That was a mouthful.

But if you are one of those 16 girls from your school, you could win $1000 - just for being you. We take professional pictures of you, you share some fun information about yourself, we put it all up here on the site where you compete for votes. It's that easy for you. Of course, you should read the contest rules for some more details.

Let's break it down

  • Step 1: You help us find the top 16 girls from each school.
  • Step 2: Seeding! We post their photos and you choose where these girls are palced in the tornament bracket. Just to clarify: Yes, this round is purely based on outward appearance. Be careful, by going only for the perfect 10 smile, you may be eliminating the perfect 10 cool.
    • It's kind of like a jigsaw puzzle but there's no wrong answer. Mix them around and seed in order of your top pick to your last pick. It's fun and you can do it as many times as you want to support your favorite contestants!
  • Step 3: The contestants are placed into brackets based on their seed and then they REALLY begin fighting their way to the finals. Ah yes, babes in brackets, that's our racket.

Now let the real Madness begin! You are in charge of voting for your favorites, with the help of tons of photos, a revealing personality profile, bio, blogs by the contestants and more! This means that ultimately you decide who will be crowned the Madness Champ! Once the tournament begins, you will have the opportunity to vote on all the weekly head-to-head match-ups. You can vote once per day for each match-up. Vote by reviewing the match-up or vote using our "quick vote" feature if you're running late and already know who you like. Then, check back to see who the winners are and to begin voting for the next round of match-ups. There are a total of four rounds for you to vote in and choose the Madness Champ at each school. This is not a task to be taken lightly because each of the four school Champs will represent their school in the Florida Madness Four.
